Mission Impossible

During July and August 2012 ELI Nervion had a facelift but what started as a facelift turned into major building works with a mad rush to get ready for opening on 3 September. You'll see in this video it is appropriately named "Mission Impossible" by Glenn.

The N Team - Movie Premier

The N Team's epic tale concerns honour and duty during a time when they are usually lying in bed on a Saturday morning.  The film opens with Els looking suitably apprehensive and chattering gatherings of nervous English teachers wondering where the transport was parked.  Impressed by the vehicles the small groups scramble to board the Jag or the London taxi - a taste of what is to come takes place in the streets of Nervion while their selflessness and bravery is yet to be discovered.  Arriving at the battlefield, our novice warriors look a little confused with money markets and the hi-tech weaponry but they quickly get to grips with it and our heroes are ready to save....well, no-one's quite sure what.  Together they consolidate Nervion's defences and shape up into a worthy militia, while no-one knows who the enemy is looming menacingly behind protective battle gear.  Soon raids and counter-raids build to a final bloody, hand-wrenching (ouch!) battle.  The film you've all been waiting for....here on ELI Nervion Blog.

Paintball - Saturday 14 April

Paintball has been booked for Saturday, 14 April.  It starts at 10.00am and lasts a maximum of 3 hours.  The cost includes:

Protection + 100 balls + gun
Initiation course
Access to the playing field
Insurance

You can buy extra balls at 6 euros for 100.  The total cost is 35 euros per person and Glenn has already paid the deposit.  We all owe him 10 euros for the deposit and it'll be 25 euros on the day.

We'll figure out how to get there soon.

Holiday in Bilbao (Oops TESOL in Bilbao!)

In March 2012, Els, Roisin, Helen and Ella went to TESOL-Spain in Bilbao.  We made a little video to share our weekend away with you all!
